In 2016, Last Word Hospitality formed a partnership with the long-time owners of silverlake’s Rambutan Thai, Katy and Annie, and on a budget of $50,000, re-launched the venue as Same Same Thai - a fun, casual wine bar concept with traditional Thai food.  After 7 years, in June 2023, LWH sold their shares back to the family, as they continue to steward the restaurant into the future.  

It’s a spicy, family party, and it always will be.
